So I just recently started trying to learn Japanese and I’ve kinda had trouble finding resources to use that I feel will actually help me reach fluency. And just to note I have already found a good resource to learn the Kana. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

there is a sidebar on this sub that has resources as well as a starter guide
the usual route is: textbooks->native media
textbooks are just basic texts to give you enough “legs” to learn from Japanese media
“native media” means, anything made for Japanese to consume such as, movies, books, video games, podcasts, and such. You want to learn from these things if you can. But before you get to that point you might do well to learn some basics, which is what textbooks offer.
Try reading the subreddit wiki, it is filled with information.
Try this.

I just realized I’m posting the exact same thing as the previous two posts, well great minds think alike!
Personally I use Japanesepod101 (although it’s expensive) which has lessons ranging from grammar to culture and kanji
