Any non-popular museum/place recommendations in Osaka?

Hello!

I was wondering whether there are any less popular places or museums somebody could recommend me in Osaka? Me and my friend are going, but they have visited most of the popular stuff like the aquarium and the temples.

If possible, we would love to see a museum with traditional art. I found the Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum and Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum, anybody been to these museums and would they recommend them?

If not that, we are open to something different other than museums.

Thanks so much!

Places that we didn’t make it to yet but are on our future visit list include the following. Some are in Kyoto.

One museum I’ve heard of but haven’t been to yet is the [Miho Museum in Shiga.](https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e7027.html) There’s also [this article](https://www.the-kansai-guide.com/en/article/item/16214/) on some museums in the Kansai area.

  2. If you’re looking for something random to do, I stopped by the Osaka World Trade Center on my visit there. It’s one of the tallest buildings in Japan, located right next to the harbor. They have an observation deck on the top floor.

It’s marked down as ATC/Cosmo tower on the maps. Pretty large shopping area, and most of the buildings have an observation deck/some kind of exhibit. Definitely not an all day visit, but an interesting place to stop by and see something different.
