because it’s impossible to plan any kind of trip with my friends I just decided to do my own thing and decided to fly to Tokyo for New Year. Do you have anything else you’d recommend for me to do?

**General info for my travel planning:**
* This will be my first time traveling outside of Europe and the first time traveling alone
* I have a comfortable budget but I’m not planning on spending like 2k on top of the flight and housing either.
* And also I have no specific time table as I’m just planning on doing on whatever I feel like at the time and I’m pretty flexible. I don’t mind going for a train ride for a few hours either.
* I don’t want a super packed vacation where I experience everything but one that’s just pretty chill and if I liked it I might travel there again.

**About me:**
I’m German, male and in my early 20’s.

**What I have planned to do so far (if the places are open that day):**
* Akibahara because why not
* New Years Eve in Shibuya
* Going to a few Vinyl/Music shops and just looking a bit
* Eating
* Going to the German restaurant “Lorelei” in Ginza.
* *(This is a big maybe)* checking out as many German restaurants as I can as it would be kinda funny to me to primarily eat German food while being a German abroad.
* Just going out for a long walk and exploring the city
* Going to the Pokemon Mega Center
* Looking for some old consoles like N64’s (+ controllers and games) and picking one or two up so that I could maybe mod them once I’m back home.
* Finding the place of the “Your Name – stair scene”
* Picking up some Pokemon Plushies, fancy Kit Kat and other souvenirs for friends and family back home.

**What I’d like to do:**
* Going out for a drink or two and exploring Japanese alcohol
* Going to a live Rock/Metal bar or something along those lines
* Visiting a zoo would be an option but that’s more something for when I have nothing else to do
* Rock-ish concerts but I think at that time of the year it’s kind of unlikely
* ?

**What I don’t want to do:**
* Going to a shrine (for especially for new years eve). Just think I wouldn’t feel all that comfortable there.
* Ending up in a shady bar and having my credit card maxed out.
