Hi everyone!
Last month, I arrived in Japan on a working holiday visa. I’m additionally enrolled in a short term language program.
Today I received a message from my language school, that I am subjected to take a tuberculosis test according to governmental rules. The school usually sponsors student visa for students and I am aware that tuberculosis tests are required to receive a CoE.
However, as I am here on a working holiday visa am I still required to get tested for tuberculosis?
If it matters, I am exempted from enrolling in the Japanese Health insurance system as of now due to me being insured in my home country.
Thanks a lot in advance!

If the school is requiring a test if you want to continue attending the school you need to take the test or find another school.
The requirements for a working holiday visa and asking us is completely irrelevant to the situation you find yourself in.
