2. Good thing all the masking, alcohol, temperature readers, social distancing signs on the floors, plastic barriers, vaccines, boosters, and daily news coverage is still being pushed to keep us from spreading Covid-19

   I only hear about these numbers in Japan meanwhile most developed countries have moved on with no mask. I’m at the point of believing all the anti spread measures are just keeping people vulnerable to Covid as opposed to getting sick and building a strong immune system.

   Yes people died, yes people are still getting sick, yes vaccines have reduced symptoms. It’s wel known that these numbers are not only the unvaccinated population.

   What did we do before there were vaccines? Oh you got Covid, you need to stay in this hotel until you test negative, without treatment. Oh you’re negative now? Great, you can go home!

4. It’s telling what countries embraced authoritarianism when it came to covid. Japan wasn’t really a surprise but it’s going to take a Herculean effort to get the population to take their masks off again. I think they’ll need every boy band, variety show comedian and giggling idol to mount a campaign for anti-masking.

5. Of course it is. People can finally enter the country. How about a percentage figure?

6. Stop counting daily new infections. This makes no sense and just frightens the people. Concentrate on the situation at hospitals.
