I’m looking for a video/audio regular Japanese news source that is reasonable balanced (not too pro-Japanese or pro-West) that I can listen to everyday or once a week. For comparison, I’ve found something that more or less fits that description for China called [China Update](https://www.youtube.com/@ChinaUpdate). Oh, and I’m mostly interested in political and economic news.

I’m not aware of anything like China Update, but it might exist. There seems to be a vibrant scene of China watchers on Youtube, but I wonder if Japan is relevant enough to support that kind of thing. There are Japanese language channels that I watch, but it doesn’t feel like globally relevant news that might impact my life in the US. I have been watching China Update though
