On the CoE application form it is required to fill “Date of Entry” and “Port of Entry” . However I have no clue exactly when I am going to enter Japan and via which airport, does that mean it is necessary to book a flight beforehand ? Is it okay to put approximate date or does it absolutely have to be exact on the CoE ?
As long as I obtain the visa, I should be able to enter Japan within 3 months right ? so why is it required to input date of entry on the CoE ?
