When I go to renew my visa, will I also need to renew my Permission to Engage in Other Activities?

For example, if I get permission to engage in other activities this month, but renew my visa in two months, will I need to also renew my Permission to Engage in Other Activities? Or is that not how that works?

  1. Permission to engage in other activities has its own expiry date. But usually it’s the same date as your main status of residence (at least the blanket permission. I don’t know about specific permission), so, usually, yes.
