Hi, I’m trying to figure out if this is feasiable:
Day 1: Tokyo Station shikansen to Hakone Yumoto -> bus to Mt Kintoki and hike -> come back down for hotel (or ryokan if within price range)
Day 2: Cable car to hopefully get a view of Mt Fuji -> Shrine + torii -> shikansen to Osaka

Should be, yes. As long as you start the days early it should not be a problem.
However, shinkansen from Tokyo station can only bring you to Odawara station. If you want to go to Hakone-Yumoto direct, you have to take the Romancecar from Shinjuku.
