What’s the best way to study just for the test, and just about passing?
I’m a senior in highschool and taking it next month, I feel like I should have taken N3 to make sure I get a certificate at least to show colleges but you can’t change your seat and the next one is in 6 MONTHS. I wanted to take the N2 because (I heard) at that level you could go to university in japan.
Is there any other tests I can take to show japanese universities?
Thank you 🙂

what do you mean not there yet, EJU is equivalent to n2-n1 ish level but there is no passing grade so you just gotta get something equivalent to n2 in my uni case its 220/400 but not sure about others
This might sound a bit harsh, but any university that asks for JLPT yet is fine with N3 is probably not worth going to.
With that in mind, go for the level you’re likely at, not the one that’s ahead but would be better to have in the future. Yes, it is better to have, but that means squat if you fail. You can get past papers, get a timer and see what score you get.
Most unis will ask for EJU anyway, which isn’t a pass/fail system, but a score system, meaning there’s no ‘just safe’ line to aim for. Even if you expend a massive amount of effort cramming specifically for N2 now (possibly causing yourself to burnout), it won’t prepare you for the EJU which is the one that you should really be looking out for for Japanese uni admissions.
What is your score on N2/N3 practice exams?
