Hello – would welcome everyone’s thoughts on a trip with a toddler and a pre-teen in December. We are trying to keep the kids entertained, not too much jammed in but still enjoy ourselves.
Arrival day – settle into hotel in Shinjuku
Day 1 – Asakusa / Ueno Zoo / Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art
Day 2 – Tokyo Legoland / Ginza
Day 3 – Tokyo Tower / Mori Art Museum / Robot playground
Day 4 – Tokyo Disney Land
Day 5 – Shibuya / Harajuku
Day 6 – Travel / Osaka aquarium
Day 7 – Universal Studios
Day 8 – Travel – hiroshima – castle / garden / peace park
Day 9 – itsukushima-jinja Shrine and the floating gate / mt Misen ropeway
Day 10 – travel to kyoto / fushimi inari
Day 11 – Kiyomizu dera temple, hokan-ji pagoda, yasaka shrine, and kyoto imperial gardens
Day 12 travel back to Tokyo
Day 13 fly home
