So I just found out Yuucho stopped doing currency exchange since December apparently. And other banks (I dunno about all, but I checked a couple) require you to have an account with them to do currency exchange.
Where do you guys exchange currency? Where’s got the best rates?

I use Revolut. I transfer £ from my UK account, exchange it to ¥ and withdraw it from an ATM. There’s no exchange fee (unless it’s the weekend but even then it’s a small amount) and no extra withdrawal fee. The withdrawal limit is £200 pm or 5 withdrawals (whichever comes first) but you can upgrade your account to get better options.
Or if you want to exchange ¥ to spend abroad, it’s the same – you just transfer it to Revolut, exchange it and withdraw it. So it depends what you want to do I suppose, sorry I wasn’t sure!
Edit: If you just want to exchange your money and keep it as £ for example, still the same, minus the withdrawal. No exchange fee makes it great plus the general rates are good too.
