Where are people buying 5-6 kilo turkeys in the Tokyo area. Meat guy and other online places only have 2-3 kilo max. Costco was out of stock. It’s planes, trains & automobile season
We’re skipping turkey this year and doing a roast instead. We went to Costco 3 times checking. In October they said November, in November they said no turkeys this year. From what my mom says, good sized turkeys are at a premium in the US this year. She is doing 2 11kg turkeys and is having trouble finding them. I guess bird flu this year hit the turkey stocks pretty hard.
Hanamasa usually has 4-5 kilo turkeys around this time but I haven’t had great luck finding them this season! But maybe some locations do have them still
