To anyone who owns The Witcher 3 on the Switch, would you be able to confirm whether it’s playable in German and Japanese as well if you change the System Language to German or Japanese/日本語 respectively?
(Yes, I’m aware that according to the eShop, it doesn’t, but there’s no mention of Japanese for Hades either so I’m still hoping).

I’m currently considering getting Witcher 3 for the Switch, since I’m not using my PC very much and even though I’ve started playing the game several times, I’ve never gotten around to actually finishing it.
Thing is, I’m currently learning Japanese, so I would love to use the game to practice it. But I also want to play the game in German since that’s what I’m used to.
I’m aware that according to the eShop, the language options are
German eShop: German, English, Spanish, Italian, French and Russian
Japanese eShop: Japanese, English and Chinese
but for Hades they didn’t mention a Japanese version either, so I’m still hoping but can’t confirm it myself.

I own the Japanese version and it only has English and Japanese, the complete edition should also include Korean so I don’t think the German version has Japanese in it.
The Witcher 3 is a huge game and each language carries a lot of data with it so I think the language label is correct.
You probably should get the Steam version, it has all languages.
