  1. Please let me comment on Yokohama and Kamakura.

    Here is your original plan:

    >15/7tokyo -kamakura 6;00-7;00- jr passTsurugaoka ,hachimangu (great budda)11;30 yokohama11;30-15;00 minato mirai15;00-16;30 ramen museum16;45-20;30 China town20;30- yokohama -kyoto

That is one day for both Kamakura and Yokohama. Kamakura itself requires a couple of days just to scratch the surface of it, not even mentioning Yokohama.

Tsurugaoka Hachimangu is name of the temple, it is not two different places.

Great Buddha is located near Hase station, which needs a train ride from Kamakura station. Also, Hase has Hasedera temple which, in my opinion at least, is more interesting than Hachimangu.

Meanwhile, near Hachimangu there is Kenchoji, which is totally worth a visit. It is a giant temple with its facility going into the mountain, and it will take about couple of hours just to visit it. I am not sure if it or any other temple is open at 7:00 AM…

Also, since it is July, Enoshima must be a nice, refreshing seaside walk around the island.

Besides, Kamakura has plenty of other temples and places to see… As I wrote, it is absolutely not enough just to run through it.

    Now, let’s move to Yokohama.

Minatomirai by itself is not really a place. There is that formerly tallest building in Japan, the Landmark Tower, which is worth going up in the dark hours: the views are breathtaking. There is that nice walk through the former port facilities, which is nice by itself too. Otherwise it is just a shopping complex not remarkable in any way.

China Town is actually fun and worth visiting.

That said, your Chinatown visit ends at 20:30, while your bullet train is at 20:30 too. Bullet train departs from Shin-Yokohama station, which is far from Chinatown and not really close to Yokohama station too. Make sure you reserve the time just to get to the station.

Now let’s look at some other parts:

    >9:00 -11:00 Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardenskobe china town 11:00 -14:00 (plus food)himeji 15:00 -17:30hiroshima 19;00-21;00 downtown

Kobe Chinatown isn’t that extensive, but ok. Himeji 15:00~17:30 does not sound realistic, since the only reason to visit Himeji is the castle, and that castle requires several hours to see. It is easily a one-day trip.

Next, Hiroshima 19:00-21:00 sounds insane to me, because you will be wasted after Kobe and running in the heat through Himeji…

Other than that, there seem to be many repetitions, like visiting Donki or Mandarake all over the place. They are all the same and visiting the same chain shop in a different place is unlikely to bring you any valuable experiences. It is a lot like visiting McDonalds in different cities.

To sum it up, this itinerary needs some reworking to waste less time, to not try to see absolutely everything and to be more realistic (you cannot really plan time like that, since some places are huge, some are tiny and you also need transport time between them).

  2. Just one little note, Rainbow Bridge closes by 8pm depending on time of year, so if you want to walk it make sure to come over that way! If you just want to see it, no worries.
