Is it just me, or do a lot of Japanese restaurants serve water that tastes funny? Like sometimes it vaguely tastes like really really weak tea, sometimes it tastes like fish. Sometimes it just tastes… the way that garbage smells.
Is it a problem with the tap? Or are the cups not getting cleaned well? Are they “infused” intentionally? Or am I simply mistaken?
