Ware is not really used much anymore. You might see it in literature or something, but that’s about it. It would be similar to using thou, thee, or thine in English as far as I can tell. Depending on your gender, you have a couple options. Male is boku (ぼく・僕) for mildly masculine and ore (おれ・俺) for more masculine and generally used by adults. Neutral and female is watashi (わたし・私). And more feminine is atashi (あたし・私 (yes, it has the same kanji as わたし)). By the way, where did you hear ware. I don’t know if I’ve ever come across it much except in the form of 我々 for companies tweeting out PR statements.
我 is an archaic personal pronoun, while です is a pretty modern polite copula. If you’re trying to say something in old style for effect, 「我は死神」with no copula has the best effect, I feel, although 「我、死神なり」works as well if you want it to sound even older.
If you want to just introduce yourself (didn’t notice your username in the first paragraph) – while modern pronouns like 私, 僕, 俺 depending on the situation would work *better*, your *best* bet is leaving it off and going with one of the following, from casual to polite
