It was this J pop band (is that the right term for those boy groups?) Definitely not a new band- i’m going back quite a few years.
The only lyrics I remember are so obscure so bare with me!
The english version of the first lyrics were “all a lie, it was all just a lie.”
Then towards the end I am sure they sung in actual english “but i love you everyday.”
It was a slow song, very romantic sounding? It’s been on my mind for years so if anyone is able to know who i’m talking about based on the absolute worthless bits I have to offer that would be greta !!

Unforgettable by DBSK/ Touhou Shinki TVXQ ?
They are a Korean band, one of the peak Kpop ones and split into 2 groups out of which two (Changmin and Yoochun I believe) are still regularly performing as the original band.
I found the song by googling “all a lie” and “love you everyday”, found this lyrics page, that also links to the video.

ETA I did not double check this particular one being released in Japanese, but they have a ton of songs in Korean as well as Japanese, so I assume this is the right one despite different original language
Edit2 to add dropped vowels >.< was a DBSK fan back in the days, but my favourite Japanese one is this: どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？and, I also recommend F.T.island same gen, bit more independent vibe, lots Korean/Japanese doubles and Karaoke-useful
