Any attack on Japan is an attack on the USA. There are 23 American military bases on Japanese soil.
That sounds like BS until we try to remember the mood of Russian media right before 3.11 earthquake. They were in full-blown war mode against Japan. It’s the earthquake which brought eyes of the whole world to Japan and Russia seems to have cancelled their plans. But yeah, that would be stupid. Not that anything else they do is clever.
This is so dumb to be considered remotely true. Like the article equates Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine being equal to the decision of invading Japan, but under the Biden administration there is no way the US would just abandon their military bases and go home. Russia would have never invaded Ukraine if it was part of NATO in the same way Japan is part of the defense treaty with the US.
I think almost every country in the world will come to rescue Japan except China and North Korea
So this was before they realized that their army is complete shit.
