So I don’t know if this is disallowed self-promotion, but I have a blog where I’m trying to play all the untranslated SNES RPGs. I’ve done 97 of them out of an approximate 130. Unfortunately most of them aren’t that good but every so often there’s a decent one. (it’s at https://www.rpgblog.net )
It’s hard to recommend a specific one without knowing what kind of games you like. The only games on the no-patch list that I liked more than average were the Sword World SFC games, but they’re kind of idiosyncratic.
Stay far away from Light Fantasy 1 and 2; they are two of the worst RPGs ever made.
