I’ve heard about, and personnally had, issue with an “european phone” (OnePlus 5T bought in France) when arriving in Japan (different frequency bands, no VOLTE without some hack, no Felicia chip, …). Do you know if there are any issue when doing the opposite ? Bringing back a Japan bought phone in France/Europe ?
I’ll work Japan for the next 20 months or so, and probably go back to France after. My phone is dying and with the Black Friday discounts, I’m looking at Asus Zenphone9 or Google Pixel phones (so high end international flagships)
I’ve seen partial answers to this, but with the price of a high end phone, I’d appreciate any recent precisions. Thanx !
