Mid Feb Itinerary – any feedback appreciated!

Hi all,

I’m traveling to Japan mid Feb and doing some exploring around Sapporo/Hokkaido with the end goal of doing some snowboarding in Niseko. Could someone give me some pointers the below rough itinerary? We are planning hire a car and drive ourselves but not sure if there would be better/more accessible options. We’ll have our luggage and snowboards with us the whole trip, which was the original incentive of hiring a car.

I’m also not sure if we’re factoring in enough time to drive between places and whether there are any other things we should visit while we’re in these places? Also is 4 days of snowboarding too much?? We’re both snowboarders late but young (late 20s) so we think we should be okay.

We’re also spending Valentines day there so if anyone has any cute ideas I’d appreciate it!
