Differences between working as a Japanese salaryman vs Korean salaryman? On average, which country’s salarymen had more intense work culture/put in more hours?

It seems Japan and Korea both have intense work cultures. For those who have worked as a Japanese and Korean salaryman during similar time periods or at least have heard stories, were there any differences that stuck out?
