I am learning the language so that my options aren’t limited. Once I get my degree, I plan on gaining some experience in a coding job and then applying for a company in Japan. I come from America. I make this post as I am curious how it was for so many people who moved to Japan. For what reason did you all move there? I would like to ask some questions, if you do not mind.
What kind of things should I expect during this process, and what was it like for you when you first moved? How’s housing, and getting used to the new environment? How was it like making friends? Is it hard to socialize? How is the work environment?

None of this should be an issue if you have a compsci or SE salary.
