An unexpected encounter

(Bear with me this is related to learning japanese)

Today was a weird day, i went to the TGS (Toulouse game show), which is a typical video games/anime/kpop/”geek” culture kind of convention, with friends of mine.

At some point i started looking on the plan for the “japan” area of the convention and recognized a familliar name : Julien Fontanier, for thoses of you that aren’t French he basically does japanese courses videos (in french).

The special thing about this is that his videos inspired me to start learning japanese 4 years ago when i randomly came accros his video on youtube one day.

Went to speak to him for a bit and i explained him all this and that i’m going for Jlpt n2 next week. He was really surprised i never took Jlpt n3 and jumped straight to N2.
He was super nice and told me to tell me how it went after the exam.

That felt really surreal to me but it made me think about all the way i came across since i started.
Sorry to ramble about my life here i just really felt like talking about all this and thanks for reading.

And courage to all of those trying Jlpt next week !
