Basically in the title. I’m curious where Japanese people go to read and write fanfiction. Is there any one place sort of like Archive of Our Own there?
Out of curiosity, and I do not mean this in a confrontational way, what is the allure of reading fanfiction when actual fiction is cheap and plentiful?
There are some Japanese language fics on AO3. You can set the language to日本語 in the search options. Not a lot though. Good question.
