*This itinerary will not be fully done yet and is a bit less hectic. I also will not have a day-to-day schedule as of yet due to finalising accommodation first.*
*I mainly need advice on Tohoku region as I have not gone this way before.*
*Also, I really like café’s, tempura and sushi places so always open to suggestions as I will go to areas just for a really good place then explore around.*
**22nd Jan – 4th Feb : Tokyo – APA Asakusabashi**
This will entail revisiting some areas I have missed visiting since my last trip and also exploring more neighbourhoods eg: Yanaka, Daikanyama, Kichijoji, Nakameguro etc.
Any advice on some interesting areas/neighbourhoods would be great?
**4th Feb – 7th Feb: Kanazawa – Hotel Pacific**
I am always on the lookout for a good seafood market so a lot of food and then normal sights.
**7th Feb – 14th Feb: Kyoto – Cross Hotel**
Exploring around more, revisiting some places etc.
Café’s / advice on lesser-known neighbourhoods always welcome.
**14th Feb – 17th Feb: Kurashiki/Hiroshima – Lazuli Hiroshima**
Day trip to Kurashiki then two days in Hiroshima.
**17th Feb – 24th Feb: Osaka – Airbnb**
I have never given Osaka a fair chance so thought this time I will go around for more than one day. All the food spots, Denden town, Namba etc.
Again, any lesser-known neighbourhoods etc.
**24th Feb – 4th March: Tokyo – undecided**
Need to be in Tokyo this week so will do the things I need to do then also explore more and probably stay in a different area.
**4th – 13th : Tohoku – undecided**
I am unsure where to travel around in this area – Niigata, Fukushima, Yamagata, Sendai, Akita, Morioka, Aoimori. I won’t have a car.
My main plan was to maybe do some of Tohoku this time then Hokkaido next time. I do not enjoy rushing around and traveling all the time, I like to mooch in places.
So, any advice on 2 – 3 places that would be good to see and have awesome food!
**13th – 20th March: Tokyo again – undecided**
I am unsure whether to extend some time in Tohoku but I do like having around 5 days at the end in Tokyo to do shopping, buy presents etc.
I know people may think it strange to spend so much time in Tokyo, but it is one of my favourite cities so I do enjoy it 🙂
*I know all the normal day trips/one night stay aways from Tokyo, so any different ones are always good to hear about.*
*I also enjoy hiking, collecting items for my fav anime, and finding gardens that are either near temples or in random places. I do enjoy temples but prefer smaller ones that I have to go find :)*
