For context, I switched to docomo around 1 month ago from Softbank. But when I checked my bank account I got billed by Softbank. I kinda assumed MNP switching would relieve me from anything Softbank-related, and I asked and they told me that I should not have to deal with Softbank anymore.

They probably charge one month later than the period, so you pay October’s bill in November. But you should ask them to make sure.
