I was studying and came across 病院 (びょうき) a word I’ve seen plenty of times and I thought huh, it sounds similar to it’s meaning if that makes sense. Also the mouth movements you make kind of are like vomiting at least it makes sense to me. Another one is ときどき saying it’s like the English “here and there” “some of this some of that” it sounds like it’s meaning of “sometimes” speaking of English the language has similar words that just sounds like what they mean for example “bog” “speed” “cough” etc. It could just be my connection between the pronunciation and meaning is so strong now I see them within each other and I’m at an early stage with that in Japanese too. I don’t know what do y’all think?
