Yeah let’s just not start Ito and Mitoma in a must win game lol
Such a boring game to watch. Japan took no risks. It lacked passion, as Keisuke Honda said.
Will be hard to beat Spain. Costa Rica took advantage of a crucial mistake!
Bunch of fucking donkeys, they wasted the only chance we had of going through to the RO16
They played a negative game, took no risks and didn’t wake up until after Costa Rica scored the goal. They should have played aggressively and attacked from the beginning. And the mistake by Yoshida was ridiculous. He needed to clear that ball long.
Every world cup it’s the same story…
They had no reason to loose that game
When Japan played with urgency, which totalled about 1 and a half minutes cumulatively, they created their best chances. The rest of the game they were dull and deserved to lose
Watching this game I was instantly reminded of the time when Soccer came to Springfield and then the team just passed it between themselves in the middle of the field. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rJu2qSJ9zno
Not starting Mitoma and Kubo, saving Tomiyasu for the qualifying rounds. Coach bias towards J-league players and lack of urgency thinking it would be easy.
