I do apologize if this type of question has been asked many times before. However, I have a question regarding student visas. Since I received the acceptance for my Scholership a few days ago, I wanted to register at a language school in Tokyo, which I have already visited shortly in 2018. Unfortunately, they don’t offer student visas in Tokyo, so I asked other schools which were recommended to me. There I was told that it will not be possible to apply for student visa until July 23. Since I wanted to start in April, this is of course not that great. I will also do an internship afterwards, but the place is not yet decided, so there is no possibility for the work visa yet. I could stay up to 180 days anyway, but I do not want any problems with finding an apartment. My question is: is that really the case or are there other possibilities? Maybe someone knows more about it and I am grateful for any info.
