One Day in Tokyo

Hello everyone!

I will be in Tokyo on 21 January at 6:30pm until 22 January 6:00pm. I have a pretty liberal budget, and have about $500-700 usd for the short stay (public transportation around the city, hotel room, food, drink, tourist stuff).

Last time I stayed in Tokyo, a friend of mine took me around Golden Gai for bar hopping. I’d like to find a hotel around that area. I’m very easy and a cheap hotel or capsule hotel would be fine. I am open to any area that has izakayas, late night/24-hour eateries, ramen, bars, and pubs around. Any place that’s hustle and bustle 24/7 would be perfect!

During the day, I’d really like to visit the Godzilla store in Shinjuku and Akihabara.

Basically, look for recommendations to drink/ eat throughout the night and shop/eat and sightsee during the day.
