Quirky work cafes?

Visiting Tokyo for the first time, looking for a cafe or some place to work that has something quirky about it? maybe even a city skyline view? Thanks for your suggestions in advance 🙂

  1. Japan has a lot of cafes at tourist attracts but they tend to charge a premium. Tokyo does not have a cafe culture similar to developing countries or Seoul – it was one of the few things that I preferred about Seoul actually, though I still like Tokyo overall.

  2. There are some pet cafes where you can have something to drink and play with different animals: cats, rabbits, owls, capybara, etc.

For example, if you are interested in owls, search for “owl cafe”.

But some people are against those places because allegedly, the animals are mistreated, same as with zoos.

There’s also the maid cafes, those are teenage girls dressed in maid costumes.

  3. What do you mean by quirky?
You have rétro cafés that are open 24/24, easily findable on Google maps if you want. Not smokers free unfortunately.
