おはよう everyone!
Recently, I have started studying Japanese as self-learner. I bought Genki I, both textbook and workbook. Concerning the latter, I am doing the second chapter exercises, the ones relative to これ/それ/あれ , この/その/あの, and も. I am writing for your help, because I do really want to understand how to build sentences, and not memorizing standard pre-made ones. So the first question is: can I write the same sentence in two ways, for one way with これ and one way with この? Let me do an example:
Original Sentence: This is my bicycle.
JP1: これは、わたしのじてんしゃです。
JP2: このじてんしゃは、わたしのです。
Are the above sentences equal?
Second question: the も particle must be used instead of は when do we want to say “too”, correct? Let me do another example:
Original Sentence 2: That is my bicycle too.
JP3: それもわたしのじてんしゃです。
JP4: そのじてんしゃもわたしのです。

Also in this case, are JP3 and JP4 equal?

Sorry for the long post, I hope I have explained my concerns clearly.
ありがとう!!!

If you understand this, then you can understand the Japanese

The first thing to learn, when learning a new language is grammar of your native language. Without it, whatever explanations of Japanese grammar you read will make no sense at all.
