Hi, I know this probably isn’t the usual request but can anyone help me translate ‘peace amidst my chaos’ into Japanese? I’ve tried several translators and they don’t give the same answer so I don’t know which one to trust. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks for any help guys 🙂

Anyways, what you got is technically correct, but it sounds super clunky and awkward. And to be honest, I don’t think this phrase translates all that well. What sounds poetic in English often won’t sound poetic in Japanese. If you want something that will sound good in Japanese I’d recommend doing some research into “Yojijukugo”, which are Japanese 4-character idioms.
Japanese people use a loanword カオス(かおす/kaosu ) as the meaning of chaos, but never say “私のカオスmy chaos” .
When you in some chaos, you can just say “カオスだ…/it’s chaos… ”
Or there’s a word カオス状態(かおす じょうたい/kaosu joutai : chaotic situation).
There’s a phrase 混沌とした状態(こんとんと した じょうたい / konton to shita joutai), it dou really stiff and we don’t use it unless we write a paper or we make a speech in a formal situation.

Peace is 平和(へいわ/heiwa), but when I hear the word 平和, I feel that it is the opposite of war : 戦争/せんそう /sensou.
I think that spiritual peace would be better translated as 安らぎ(やすらぎ/yasuragi : tranquility) or 癒し(いやし/iyashi : soothing or healing).
I think カオスの中の安らぎ(かおす の なか の
やすらぎ / kaosu no Naka no yasuragi) or カオスの中の癒し(かおす の なか の いやし / kaosu no naka no iyashi) would be easier to understand in meaning than “混沌の中の平和(こんとん の なか の へいわ / konton no naka no heiwa).
