6. I miss Mauro doing commentary on AXS. It was like he was made to call NJPW.

7. The beginning comes across as a no-sell of a stunner that fully lands even knowing what it’s actually intended to be.

8. My problem with the Gun Stun is sometimes they really overdo it being blocked/reversed. Sometimes I feel like it’s Kevin Kelly saying “Gun Stun! No!” About 5-6 consecutive times

Karl Anderson is not good, he doesn’t do anything interesting in the body of his matches and as demonstrated in this clip, he always does an overlong, choreographed reversal sequence at the end of them to make people think he’s a worthwhile worker. He’s probably among the most responsible for popularizing these dumb sequences that as much as I enjoy NJPW, has generally been the worst part of the style in its modern era.
