Hi There,
A company sent me some goods incorrectly from the UK. I returned the goods but I received an import tax bill for the goods from FEDEX. They say I have to pay the taxes and then apply for a refund. I didn’t make this order and the goods were sent to me incorrectly. The goods have been returned to the UK too and have arrived safely.
There is no chance I am paying any taxes for this, it’s not my problem. I just want to ask whether the law is on my side in this case. It certainly would be in the UK, but trying to understand Japanese laws is a nightmare.
Any knowledge/advice from experience would be appreciated!

Did you accept the package from FedEX, or you refused to receive the package?
