Recommendations for Men’s Watches

Hello,

I am looking for recommendations for brands and shops (online or physical if in Tokyo) that have good men’s watches.

I have never owned or bought myself a nice watch before,I have always just had cheap digital watches.

I am hoping to find a analog men’s watch, preferably with a leather band, that is made to last. I have a budget of 30,000円 (max).

  1. If you like the design of the swiss railway clocks, check out Mondaine. They’re in your price range and they look quite unique. I wear one almost every day and even prefer it over my more expensive watch.

  2. I would reccommend the Seiko SKX series. Great watches. You may have to buy the leather band separately.

  3. The Clockhouse 1964 is a decent chain where I’ve bought all my watches. They have their own line of sub-20,000 solar watches that are reliable and look good. Out of my three watches that’s the cheapest one yet it gets the most compliments, and has lasted 6-7 years now. They also have assorted bands that can be swapped out, and they’re good about repairs.
