Umeshuu plum recipe ideas

I have a ton of plums left over from making umeshuu. Is there anything culinary you can do with them besides nibbling them?

  1. We put them in curry.

    edit: sorry a bit vague. We cook them in the curry, not just drop them in after it’s cooked. It gives a nice little fruity flavour.

  2. Make jam. Cut out the pits and cut up the plums, heat them in a pan on low heat, add sugar to taste. You may need a lot of sugar. Just keep adding until it tastes good to you. Great with yogurt.
