I’m at work and Amazon delivered a package. Includes a photo of it in front of my neighbour’s door. It was delivered by Amazon, not another carrier.
Through the Amazon website it seems I can only return the item, or contact Amazon delivery to reschedule a delivery. There’s no information about what to do when the package doesn’t arrive at all, or is delivered to the wrong address.
It says if it’s delivered to the wrong address you should contact the carrier, but the Delivered by Amazon carrier information only has an automated phone line for rescheduling delivery.
Anybody have any contact info for Amazon Japan in this scenario?

Did your neighbor give you the package?
If you go here and keep digging, you’ll eventually get the ability to live chat or request a call.

Happened to me about a week ago, i talked to the support chat and they sent me a new package and refunded the stuff they didn’t have. Idk where it was delivered but it was not my house
Confused as to why a photo of your neighbors door would be in the package … but have you tried asking your neighbor to hang onto it, until you get back from work?

Sorry, looks like youll have to do the automated waiting game. Hopefully you wont be on the line too long.
Just go to your neighbor, and say
“Hey, I think you received a package that was supposed to be for me”
and then he will almost certainly give it to you

I don’t understand what the issue is
Call them. The number is hidden deep in the help pages, but it is there. Once you speak to a person, they are helpful
The same exact thing happened to me, and the person kept my package. You can dispute this on their website and they should refund it or send a new one.
This is why I opt for timed deliveries at night when I know I’ll be home. Even then, I still had them deliver a package once to the wrong apartment.
