Times Car share

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been able to create an account with Times while having a Jaoanese license with a romanji name.
I’ve tried creating an account via their website with the katakana version of my name but keep on failing.

Any tips from someone who were able to?

Thank you!

Edit / Update:

Was able to make it work, I was being a dumdum by adding the zenkaku space between my first name and middle name hence it keeps on failing the validation.

Thank you so much for your help you guys!

For other people with the same problem:
1. Input full-width romanji at the kanji section and REMOVE all spaces (yes even between first and middle names)
2. Inout the Katakana version of your name in the Katakana section

Thank you again guys’

  1. IDK about that particular service but when it comes to entering your name in forms try using full-width romaji in all caps rather than direct English input. That usually works for me.

  2. I have an account and used the name on my Japanese license, which is in double-width romaji. Try typing it with the Japanese keyboard setting on your computer. That’s what I did

  3. I just checked my account for 氏名 I just used Romaji and for 氏名フリガナ I used katakana.

Are you typing “first[space]middle” name? It looks like spaces aren’t accepted so theres no space in between my first and middle name I just squished them together. There was no issues when uploading my liscence despite my lisence having a space there.

  4. Yes, enter your name exactly as written on the license. You shouldn’t use Katakana version, or it will fail the verification.
I have romaji Japanese licence too, registered with times without any issues long ago.
