  1. It is astonishing to think that Japan’s population is declining at a rate of around 700,000 per year. To put it in context it is like losing, population wise, a city the size of around Denver, Boston, Las Vegas, or Portland.

    The reason for a low birth rate is fairly obvious, the solutions also but it seems to not be a priority.
