-Translation Websites-

I currently use Jisho.org to translate/contextualize whatever I need translated, does anyone have any better websites to use that would do a better job? I’ve had some minor issues with Jisho, but for the most part it’s a great website. I usually only use the website to translate Naruto & Dragonball Databooks.

  1. Jisho is pretty great, hard to beat. I just started using JPDB which is similar to Jisho’s dictionary but also has specific card sets like Anki. It’s like a mix of both with it’s own guides and simplications and keywords

  2. [ichi.moe](https://ichi.moe) is also very good at parsing things and *very* occasionally will pick up full expressions that Jisho misses. Unfortunately I can’t think of any off the top of my head since I don’t see it happen too often, but it’s worth using as a second source I think.

  3. In a pinch, [DeepL](https://www.deepl.com/translator) is an acceptable machine translator, far more accurate than Google Translate, if the target sentence is full and not too colloquial. Even Japanese graduate students are starting to catch on, using DeepL Pro for their theses with surprisingly good results.

Not saying DeepL can replace actual learning but give it a try.
