I got lucky with where I chose to live

In front of Mitaka Station, North Exit.

I got lucky because I had no idea how convenient this location would turn out to be. The beautiful west side of Kichijoji is within pleasurable walking distance. Ladies Clinic for my first child is super close, one of the best Sports Orthopedic Clinics in Tokyo is very close. The city office is very close. Multiple super markets are close. Combini is v close. From Mitaka station Shibuya and Shinjuku are easily accessible, less than 2 stops to Shinjuku if you catch the special express. Quite and beautiful neighborhood.

What great spots have you lived in that you want to share?

  1. How much are you paying, for how many square M?

I also want to move to that area, but I’m looking for places over 100 sqm and I’m finding it difficult to find any

  2. Mitaka is a nice place. I don’t want to share exactly where but I decided to move out of Tokyo to Saitama area and I’m glad I did. Much quieter and more space. Commute isn’t bad because I only go in 3 times a week and I just play on my iPad on the train

  3. Hello neighbor.

Sanpei store just over the other side has really cheap vegetables and meat. If you walk a little north, you have Acore supermarket, which has cheap dry goods and frozen food.

I may be biased, but I think you chose a pretty good area.

  4. Nakano Sakaue – walking distance to Okubo, Shinjuku and Nakano yet not so many people around.

Access to two subway lines – Marunouchi Line and Oedo Line. Higashi Nakano on the Sobu Line is only 12 minutes walk away.
