Good luck with that. Given the LDP majority and Kishida’s high approval rating, this is nothing but a media stunt.
A big pile of BS. Kishida and his cabinet has more momentum than many of his predecessors. And he’s got a nice smile.
By what seeing of support of the party’s anti-porn bills from foreign media, CDP wants to create an image of a Japan in crisis to force an actual crisis by destroying the country’s image.
They saw the UK vote and wanted in on the action… seriously what a pointless gamble that will lead to nowhere lol
The fact that porn is a priority political issue in Japan is….pardon the pun….fucked.
Will I get in trouble if I hit/slap a man molesting me in japan? https://www.reddit.com/r/japan/comments/1005sfd/will_i_get_in_trouble_if_i_hitslap_a_man/

This motion is a symbolic measure, as the LDP coalition which holds the majority will absolutely vote against it.
Edit: You can watch a video of the proceedings and listen to the speeches by each party’s representative here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plzUW7mZCHQ
Talk about desperate.
