For those traveling to Tokyo between now and the end of the year, they are holding their German style market there. This is going near the Skytree, with another market down in Yokohama.
If you’ve never been to one, they are pretty interesting and you can usually find some goodies that you can’t find the rest of the year.
They have information published on their website, however it’s in Japanese. Shouldn’t be a problem for most, as long as whatever you’re on automatically translates it, or you can read it.

Just don’t go and expect it to actually feel like an xmas market in Germany or you’ll be disappointed. But sure it’s definitely something different for a change for those living here (i.e. not really those on r/JapanTravel)
