Is the Try series good for learning Japanese from the beginning. I stumbled onto their website and They seem to have a book series called try and a online version called eTry. Anyone have any experience with them?
Those books It’s not meant to “teach japanese” it’s meant to jlpt (language ability test) prepation, so it’s mainly a review material from what you could get in books like minna no nihongo / genki / tobira start or immersion and researching. I would use it as a review in my language abilities after I feel confident by reading “easy news” or listening “beginners podcasts”, but as only step learning tool, it’s doesn’t seem to work at all, at least for me.
