What are some Japanese recipes that I can make at home?

  1. Take a look at Champ’s Japanese Kitchen on YouTube. Ryosuke shows you how to prepare Japanese dishes and gives you hints on alternative ingredients that you can get outside of Japan.

  2. Try Chanchanyaki. the only japanese ingredient needed is Miso, everything else should re resdiky availanle in the US

  3. Okonomiyaki, oyakodon, takoyaki are all possible. It might be easier if you’re near an area with a large Asian population. I can find all the stuff I need to make the above from my local Chinese supermarket.

  4. Tempura is very easy you just need prawns, batter, breading, sauce pan, and a lot of cooking oil. Deep fry it 😆
