Now that it’s over, I feel so exhausted. Months and months of memorizing, writing, and analyzing passages..my brain is exhausted! I haven’t been that hyper-focused in years! I’m thinking about taking a break from Japanese like casually watching anime and reading manga without any pressure until the scores come out. This is going to sound really silly but I started a book in my first language to regain my confidence after the jlpt 😂

I’m planning to ease up for at least a month. I’ll probably keep up on my flashcards, but other than that, December is gonna be for reading and hobbies. It’s pretty normal to burn out after hyper-focusing on something.
I’m getting back to watching animes with subtitles in peace without the urge to learn something from them 🥹
I’m not taking another break from Japanese in general, but I am just going to watch a few hours of YouTube or Netflix in Japanese a day as my study for… a while.
On the same boat. Gonna take a break from grammar/reading/listening til the end of the month but still continue on vocabs and kanjis(rtk)
> casually watching anime and reading manga without any pressure
If anything I feel like this should’ve been the goal since the beginning. At least for me.
Also お疲れ様でした on the JLPT!
