Hi all! We are a couple planning our trip to Japan. We have never visited before and typically love food and chilling. We will be heading there from 25 Jan – 8 Feb.
We were wondering if:
1) Our itinerary seems too sparse? (We’ve yet to research on the food places we’d want to visit, and I left abit of time such that we can chill and explore each place. However it does seem abit barebones and alot of shrine hopping, but we are also aware that daylight is quite limited in winter).
2) Potentially, what can be squeezed together to make better use of our time?
3) We are considering squeezing/canceling some activities to fit in a 2-3 day trip to Kanagawa. Would that be recommended, and what would you consider optional?
4) Should we go anywhere else in the Kawaguchiko area/any tips on making it more efficient? Are there any passes (for transport) you’d recommend in particular? (Noting our hotel is pretty far)
5) Any recommended places to eat? We aren’t fussy and love food, open to trying really local delicacies as well.
Thanks in advance!
